A teaser Poster for the announced and upcoming TV series from ABC based on the Incredible Hulk set for release next year. Hopefully the series will carry Mark Ruffalo as its hulk due to his outstanding performance in 'Avengers Assemble'. Favorites and Comments appreciated
I cureently can't wait to see this tv series, I Mean it whould be great for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I mean look at this way: HULK is a big guy, He disserves a little more BIGGER screen time, Like a tv series Is just the size for the big man.
AND I WHOULD LOVE TO SEE Tim Blake Nelson PLAYING AS SAMUEL STERNS/THE LEADER, and the return of abomination, also soe other classic villains.
But i still wonder what doe sit mean when it says 10 PART SERIES in the picture, Does IT MEAN THERE will be only 10 episodes? or 10 seasons
As cool as this could be, going from the amazing box office hit of the Avengers (after several successful film roles) to staring in a TV show would be considered a major step down for most actors. I'd much rather see Ruffalo get his own Hulk movie as that would be a good career move for him and, as he is quite a fantastic actor, he deserves it.
Yeah I do agree to some extent but I feel the reason they are scaling it down first is because previous hulk films have suffered at the box office however Hulk in the Avengers Assemble was loved, I feel this TV show will be a test of the fans love for Ruffalo's Hulk and then if the show succeeds they will release a feature length for him.
So, two things, if they end up doing this show for that reason (which I actually don't think that's the reasoning) it wouldn't be testing Ruffalo's Hulk, so much as the Hulk at this point in general. It wasn't Ruffalo's Hulk that failed before. The second thing, Ruffalo's already signed a 6 movie contract with Disney/Marvel. While it is *possible* that he would do cameos in 5 other Avenger's individual movies (Iron Man 3, Captain America 2, Thor 2, Ant Man, etc...) movies and Avengers 2, it's much more likely that they plan to do at least 1 Hulk film with him (if not 2 or 3.) I think a big reason behind the earlier Hulk films doing so poorly had to do with the story arcs being covered. The Hulk's later story arcs, and the Hulk as a character seems much more appealing in later writing than the earlier comics. Don't get me wrong; Ruffalo brought something amazing to the Hulk, but there's also a depth of character that wasn't as prominent in the earlier writing.
